Maple Salmon
This recipe is from another site and is very highly rated, with good reason. I love this recipe and my sister who doesn't like the fishiness of salmon even loves it too. Just thought I would share it here.
The only thing I do different is use garlic powder in place of the garlic salt.
Ingredients:
1/4 cup maple syrup
2 tablespoons soy sauce
1 garlic clove, minced
1/4 teaspoon garlic salt
1/8 teaspoon ground black pepper
1 lb salmon
Directions:
1 In a small bowl, mix the maple syrup, soy sauce, garlic, garlic salt, and pepper.
2 Place salmon in a shallow glass baking dish, and coat with the maple syrup mixture. Cover the dish, and marinate salmon in the refrigerator 30 minutes, turning once.
3 Preheat oven to 400 degrees F (200 degrees C).
4 Place the baking dish in the preheated oven, and bake salmon uncovered 20 minutes, or until easily flaked with a fork.Last edited by bullmama; 01-26-2014 at 02:53 PM.

Blast from the past again. Love love love this recipe. It is a good variation to salmon. Will be adding this to my repertoire (I think that's how you spell that word).

Re: Maple Salmon
I made this yesterday and it was easy and great. It is a bit sweet, but sweet is good. I forgot to take a photo before I ate it, lol.
We may live without poetry, music and art; We may live without conscience, and live without heart; We may live without friends; we may live without books, But civilized man cannot live without cooks.
