    Mixed Greens Salad with mandarin oranges and dried cranberries

    Large container of mixed greens salad, or 2 of the smaller sized.
    Large Plastic jar of mandarin oranges (drained)
    Bag of dried cranberries
    1/2# of sugared pecans (recipe below)
    poppy seed dressing (I prefer Marzetti's refridgerated dressing in a jar) but can use your favorite

    mix all together in a large bowl, this salad never lasts long and everyone always wants the recipe. One of my favorite salads, Enjoy!

    sugared pecans:
    1 stick of butter
    3 egg whites
    1 c. sugar
    1 # of pecan halves

    preheat oven to 325 degrees, put stick of butter in a 9"x13" pan. Put pan in oven while preheating to melt butter.Beat eggs whites until stiff,slowly add sugar while still beating eggs. Fold in pecans.Pour into pan,coat evenly. Bake for 40 min.stir every 10 min. spread on waxed paper to cool.
    These are also great to make for Christimas time, for gifts.
