The New Girl
Hello, everyone!!!
I'm new to this forum. I love to cook! I don't have many original recipes (if any. I have to think about that). I like to take recipes and add my spin on them. I have enjoyed some of the recipes on this site already. I really like my crock pot and found a couple of the crock pot recipes fabulous. It's just me and my husband right now. We have a daughter but she doesn't live with us. She stays with her mom during the school year and stays with us in the summer. I love cooking for them and seeing the reaction when I get a touchdown with a new dish (I would have said home run but it's football season). I'm happy I found this forum!!

Re: The New Girl
Oh my gosh I would have maybe 3 posted if we were only posting our personal recipes.
Welcome aboard! Please get to sharing. The recipes dont have to be your own, just recipes you have tried and loved. I am always trying new ones and if they work I post.

Hello! Welcome!
What's your favorite crock recipe?
(My daughter just went to college, and she has a crock! LOL! I am gold mining for new things to send her to put in the crock!)

Hi and welcome. I think if you add your own ingredients the recipe becomes yours.

Re: The New Girl
Welcome!
Please share any recipe you know and love. If you got them from someone else just give credit where it's due if you know who created it. If you can't remember where you got it that's ok too.
Oh and when you try a recipe you see here please go back and tell us how you liked it....and if you tweak it a bit let us know. We might like your variation even better.

I have an Italian chicken recipe I like to use in my crock pot. I don't know where I got it from
1 bottle of Italian dressing
4-5 chicken breast (I really don't remember how much I use) or legs or thighs
1 onion chopped
Garlic
Mix everything into the crock pot and cook on low for 8 hours or high for 4hrs. The chicken should be nice and tender and easy to shred. If you use legs or thighs it will fall off the bone and you can removed those. Serve over rice or toast. My husband loves it. I'll post this in the crock pot area too.
