• 1 (20 oz) can crushed pineapple, drained
• 1 (11 oz) can mandarin oranges, drained
• 1 cup halved red grapes
• 1 cup diced apple
• 1 cup diced pear
• 1 cup shredded sweetened coconut
• 1 (8 oz) container Cool Whip, thawed
• 1/4 cup sour cream (optional)
Instructions
• Step 1: In a large bowl, combine the drained crushed pineapple, drained mandarin oranges, grapes, diced apple, and diced pear. Gently stir to mix the fruits together.
• Step 2: Add the shredded coconut and fold in the Cool Whip until the mixture is well combined. If desired, stir in the sour cream for an extra creamy texture.
• Step 3: Cover the bowl and refrigerate the ambrosia salad for at least 30 minutes to allow the flavors to meld together.
• Step 4: Serve the chilled ambrosia salad in individual bowls or on a serving platter. Garnish with additional shredded coconut or a sprinkle of chopped nuts, if desired.
