Ingredients
• 1 pound flank steak, thinly sliced
• 8 ounces sliced mushrooms
• 1 cup snow peas, trimmed and halved
• 2 tablespoons soy sauce
• 2 tablespoons rice vinegar
• 1 tablespoon brown sugar
• 1 teaspoon sesame oil
• 2 cloves garlic, minced
• 1 teaspoon grated ginger
• 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
• Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
• Step 1: In a small bowl, whisk together the soy sauce, rice vinegar, brown sugar, sesame oil, garlic, and ginger. Set the sauce aside.
• Step 2: Heat the vegetable oil in a large skillet or wok over high heat. Add the sliced beef and stir-fry for 2-3 minutes, until the beef is lightly browned and no longer pink. Remove the beef from the skillet and set aside.
• Step 3: Add the sliced mushrooms to the skillet and sauté for 3-4 minutes, until they start to release their moisture and soften.
• Step 4: Add the halved snow peas to the skillet and continue to sauté for 2-3 minutes, until the snow peas are crisp-tender.
• Step 5: Return the cooked beef to the skillet and pour in the prepared sauce. Toss everything together and cook for 2-3 minutes, until the sauce has thickened and the flavors have melded.
• Step 6: Serve the Asian Beef with Mushrooms and Snow Peas immediately, garnished with sliced green onions or sesame seeds if desired.
