Ingredients
• 2 cups all-purpose flour
• 1 teaspoon baking powder
• 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
• 1/2 teaspoon salt
• 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
• 1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg
• 1/2 cup granulated sugar
• 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
• 1 large egg
• 3/4 cup apple cider
• 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Instructions
• Step 1: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 12-cavity donut pan with non-stick cooking spray or butter.
• Step 2: In a medium bowl, whisk together the all-purpose flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt, cinnamon, and nutmeg.
• Step 3: In a separate bowl, combine the granulated sugar, melted butter, egg, apple cider, and vanilla extract. Whisk until well blended.
• Step 4: Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, stirring just until combined. Be careful not to overmix.
• Step 5: Spoon the batter into the prepared donut pan, filling each cavity about 3/4 full.
• Step 6: Bake for 12-15 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean. Allow the donuts to cool in the pan for 5 minutes before transferring them to a wire rack to cool completely.
