Instructions
• Step 1: Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or a silicone baking mat.
• Step 2: Unwrap the brie wheel and place it in the center of the puff pastry sheet. Fold the pastry over the brie, pressing the seams to seal. Flip the brie package over so the seam is on the bottom.
• Step 3: Use a sharp knife to trim any excess puff pastry, leaving about a 1-inch border around the brie. Crimp the edges of the pastry with a fork to create a decorative pattern.
• Step 4: Brush the top and sides of the puff pastry with the egg wash. This will help it achieve a beautiful golden-brown color as it bakes.
• Step 5: Bake the baked brie in puff pastry for 20-25 minutes, or until the pastry is golden brown and flaky. Allow it to cool for 5-10 minutes before serving.
