Irresistible Chicken Parm Sliders

Ingredients

• 1 lb boneless, skinless chicken breasts, pounded thin
• 1 cup all-purpose flour
• 2 eggs, beaten
• 1 cup panko breadcrumbs
• 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
• 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
• 1 jar marinara sauce
• 12 dinner rolls or slider buns, split in half


Instructions

• Step 1: Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Prepare a baking sheet with a wire rack or line it with parchment paper.
• Step 2: Set up a breading station with three shallow dishes: one with the flour, one with the beaten eggs, and one with the panko breadcrumbs.
• Step 3: Dredge the pounded chicken breasts in the flour, then dip them in the egg, and finally coat them with the panko breadcrumbs, pressing to adhere.
• Step 4: Place the breaded chicken on the prepared baking sheet and bake for 20-25 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked through and the breading is golden brown.
• Step 5: Remove the baked chicken from the oven and top each piece with a sprinkling of mozzarella and Parmesan cheeses.
• Step 6: Return the chicken to the oven and bake for an additional 5 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
• Step 7: Remove the chicken parm from the oven and slice each piece into 3-4 slider-sized portions.
• Step 8: Assemble the sliders by placing a piece of chicken parm on the bottom half of each dinner roll or slider bun. Top with a spoonful of marinara sauce.
• Step 9: Place the slider buns on the baking sheet and bake for an additional 5 minutes, or until the buns are lightly toasted.
• Step 10: Serve the Chicken Parm Sliders warm, with any remaining marinara sauce on the side for dipping.
