Ingredients
• 1 lb boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cut into 1-inch cubes
• 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
• 1 teaspoon paprika
• 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
• 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
• 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper (optional for added heat)
• 1/4 teaspoon salt
• 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
• 2 tablespoons vegetable oil (for frying)
Instructions
• Step 1: In a large bowl, combine the all-purpose flour, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, cayenne pepper (if using), salt, and black pepper. Mix well to evenly distribute the spices.
• Step 2: Add the chicken cubes to the flour mixture and toss to coat each piece thoroughly.
• Step 3: In a large skillet or Dutch oven, heat the vegetable oil over medium-high heat.
• Step 4: Working in batches, carefully add the coated chicken cubes to the hot oil and fry for 2-3 minutes per side, or until golden brown and crispy.
• Step 5: Using a slotted spoon, transfer the fried chicken starters to a paper towel-lined plate to drain excess oil.
• Step 6: Serve the chicken starters warm, garnished with freshly chopped parsley or your favorite dipping sauce on the side.
