Ingredients
• 1 bag (12 oz) of pretzel twists or rods
• 1 cup (6 oz) of semi-sweet chocolate chips
• 2 tablespoons of coconut oil or vegetable oil
• Optional toppings: sprinkles, crushed nuts, sea salt
Instructions
• Step 1: Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or a silicone mat.
• Step 2: In a microwave-safe bowl, combine the chocolate chips and coconut or vegetable oil. Microwave in 30-second intervals, stirring between each, until the chocolate is fully melted and smooth.
• Step 3: Working one at a time, dip the pretzels into the melted chocolate, making sure to coat about three-quarters of the pretzel. Gently tap off any excess chocolate and place the coated pretzels on the prepared baking sheet.
• Step 4: If desired, immediately sprinkle the chocolate-dipped pretzels with your choice of toppings, such as sprinkles, crushed nuts, or a light dusting of sea salt.
• Step 5: Allow the chocolate-dipped pretzels to cool and set completely, about 30 minutes to 1 hour.
• Step 6: Once set, the chocolate dipped pretzels are ready to enjoy! Store them in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 1 week.
