Ingredients
• 1 pound bow tie pasta
• 1 pound ground beef
• 1 onion, diced
• 3 cloves garlic, minced
• 2 cups milk
• 1 (16 oz) package Velveeta cheese, cubed
• 1 (10 oz) can diced tomatoes with green chilies
• 1 teaspoon dried oregano
• 1/2 teaspoon salt
• 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
Instructions
• Step 1: Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add the bow tie pasta and cook according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
• Step 2: In a large skillet, cook the ground beef over medium-high heat until browned and crumbled, about 5-7 minutes. Drain any excess fat.
• Step 3: Add the diced onion and minced garlic to the skillet with the beef. Sauté for 2-3 minutes until the onion is translucent.
• Step 4: Pour in the milk and add the cubed Velveeta cheese. Stir constantly until the cheese is completely melted and the sauce is smooth, about 5 minutes.
• Step 5: Stir in the diced tomatoes with green chilies, dried oregano, salt, and black pepper. Simmer for 2-3 minutes to allow the flavors to meld.
• Step 6: Add the cooked bow tie pasta to the skillet and toss to coat everything evenly in the creamy Velveeta sauce.
• Step 7: Serve hot, garnished with chopped parsley or green onions, if desired.
