Deli-Style Chicken Salad

Ingredients

• 2 cups cooked, diced chicken
• 1/2 cup diced celery
• 1/4 cup diced red onion
• 1/4 cup toasted pecans, chopped
• 1/2 cup mayonnaise
• 2 tablespoons Dijon mustard
• 1 tablespoon lemon juice
• 1 teaspoon dried dill
• 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
• 1/4 teaspoon salt
• 1/4 teaspoon black pepper


Instructions

• Step 1: In a large bowl, combine the cooked, diced chicken, diced celery, diced red onion, and chopped toasted pecans.
• Step 2: In a small bowl, whisk together the mayonnaise, Dijon mustard, lemon juice, dried dill, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper until well combined.
• Step 3: Pour the dressing over the chicken and vegetable mixture and stir gently until everything is evenly coated.
• Step 4: Cover and refrigerate the chicken salad for at least 30 minutes to allow the flavors to meld.
• Step 5: Serve the deli-style chicken salad on croissants, in lettuce cups, or on a bed of greens. Enjoy!
