Ingredients
• 8 frozen burritos (your favorite brand)
• 1 can (15 oz) tomato sauce
• 1 cup chicken or vegetable broth
• 2 tablespoons chili powder
• 1 teaspoon ground cumin
• 1 teaspoon garlic powder
• 1 teaspoon onion powder
• 1/2 teaspoon dried oregano
• 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper (optional, for heat)
• Salt and black pepper, to taste
Instructions
• Step 1: Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
• Step 2: In a medium saucepan, combine the tomato sauce, broth, chili powder, cumin, garlic powder, onion powder, oregano, and cayenne pepper (if using). Whisk the ingredients together and bring the mixture to a simmer over medium heat, stirring occasionally.
• Step 3: Once the sauce is simmering, reduce the heat to low and let it cook for 10-15 minutes, stirring occasionally, to allow the flavors to meld together.
• Step 4: Arrange the frozen burritos in a single layer on a baking sheet. Spoon the enchilada sauce over the burritos, making sure to cover them evenly.
• Step 5: Bake the burritos in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until the burritos are heated through and the sauce is bubbly.
• Step 6: Remove the burritos from the oven and let them cool for a few minutes before serving. Enjoy your delicious “Frozen Burritos with Enchilada Sauce”!
