Ingredients
• 12-15 fresh jalapeno peppers, halved lengthwise and seeds removed
• 2 tablespoons olive oil
• 1 teaspoon garlic powder
• 1/2 teaspoon salt
• 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
Instructions
• Step 1: Preheat your grill to medium-high heat (around 400°F to 450°F).
• Step 2: Slice the jalapeno peppers in half lengthwise and scoop out the seeds and membranes, leaving the pepper halves intact.
• Step 3: In a small bowl, combine the olive oil, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper. Brush this seasoning mixture evenly over the cut side of the jalapeno pepper halves.
• Step 4: Place the seasoned jalapeno pepper halves, cut-side down, directly on the preheated grill grates. Grill for 5-7 minutes, or until the peppers are slightly charred and softened but still retain some crispness.
• Step 5: Carefully flip the pepper halves and grill for an additional 3-5 minutes, or until the opposite side is lightly charred and the peppers are tender but not mushy.
• Step 6: Remove the grilled jalapeno peppers from the heat and transfer them to a serving platter. Serve immediately while warm.
