Grilled Shrimp Skewers

  • Author: Elizabeth
  • Total Time: 45 minutes to 1 hour 15 minutes

Ingredients

• 1 lb large shrimp, peeled and deveined
• 2 tablespoons olive oil
• 2 tablespoons lemon juice
• 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
• 1 teaspoon dried oregano
• 1 teaspoon paprika
• 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
• 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)
• Salt and black pepper, to taste
• Wooden or metal skewers

Instructions

• Step 1: In a large bowl, combine the shrimp, olive oil, lemon juice, Worcestershire sauce, oregano, paprika, garlic powder, and red pepper flakes (if using). Season with salt and pepper. Toss to coat the shrimp evenly and marinate for 30 minutes to 1 hour in the refrigerator.
• Step 2: Preheat your grill to medium-high heat (around 400°F). Thread the marinated shrimp onto skewers, leaving a small space between each shrimp.
• Step 3: Grill the shrimp skewers for 2-3 minutes per side, or until the shrimp are opaque and slightly charred. Be careful not to overcook the shrimp.
• Step 4: Remove the grilled shrimp skewers from the grill and serve hot, garnished with chopped parsley or lemon wedges, if desired.
