Ingredients
• 1 pound ground beef
• 2 large green peppers, sliced
• 1 onion, diced
• 3 cloves garlic, minced
• 2 tablespoons olive oil
• 1 teaspoon salt
• 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
• 1 teaspoon dried oregano
Instructions
• Step 1: In a large skillet or sauté pan, heat the olive oil over medium-high heat. Add the diced onion and sauté for 3-4 minutes until translucent.
• Step 2: Add the minced garlic and cook for 1 minute, stirring constantly, until fragrant.
• Step 3: Add the ground beef to the pan and use a spatula to break it up into small crumbles. Cook for 5-7 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the beef is browned and cooked through.
• Step 4: Stir in the sliced green peppers, salt, black pepper, and dried oregano. Cook for an additional 5-7 minutes, or until the peppers are tender-crisp.
• Step 5: Remove the pan from heat and serve the ground beef and green peppers mixture hot, garnished with fresh parsley if desired.
