Ingredients
• 4 salmon fillets (about 6 ounces each)
• 2 tablespoons pure maple syrup
• 2 tablespoons Dijon mustard
• 1 tablespoon olive oil
• 1 teaspoon garlic powder
• 1/2 teaspoon salt
• 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
Instructions
• Step 1: Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or a silicone baking mat.
• Step 2: In a small bowl, whisk together the maple syrup, Dijon mustard, olive oil, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper until well combined.
• Step 3: Place the salmon fillets on the prepared baking sheet and brush the top of each fillet with the maple-mustard glaze, ensuring even coverage.
• Step 4: Bake the salmon in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes, or until the fish flakes easily with a fork and the glaze is caramelized.
• Step 5: Remove the baked salmon from the oven and let it rest for 5 minutes before serving.
