  • Author: medAitRecp

Ingredients

  • 📌 1 unbaked 9-inch pie crust (homemade or store-bought)
  • 📌 3 large eggs
  • 📌 1 cup light brown sugar
  • 📌 1 cup light corn syrup
  • 📌 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 📌 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 📌 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 📌 2 cups pecan halves, toasted

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9-inch pie dish and line it with the unbaked pie crust.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the eggs, brown sugar, corn syrup, melted butter, vanilla extract, and salt until well combined.
  3. Gently fold in the toasted pecan halves, making sure they are evenly distributed throughout the batter.
  4. Pour the batter into the prepared pie dish, smoothing the top with a spatula.
  5. Bake the fruit cake for 50-60 minutes, or until the center is set and a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  6. Allow the fruit cake to cool completely on a wire rack before slicing and serving.
