Ingredients
• 1 pound ground beef
• 4 cups beef broth
• 2 packages ramen noodles (discard seasoning packets)
• 2 tablespoons soy sauce
• 1 tablespoon brown sugar
• 2 cloves garlic, minced
• 1 teaspoon grated ginger
• 1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)
• Salt and pepper to taste
• Chopped green onions, for garnish (optional)
Instructions
Step 1: In a large skillet or pot, cook the ground beef over medium-high heat, breaking it up with a spatula, until it’s browned and cooked through, about 5-7 minutes. Drain any excess fat.
Step 2: Add the beef broth, soy sauce, brown sugar, garlic, ginger, and red pepper flakes (if using) to the skillet. Bring the mixture to a boil.
Step 3: Add the ramen noodles to the skillet and cook for 2-3 minutes, or until the noodles are tender. Stir frequently to prevent sticking.
Step 4: Season with salt and pepper to taste.
Step 5: Serve the ramen and ground beef hot, garnished with chopped green onions if desired.
