Ingredients
• 1 pound frozen salmon fillets, thawed and flaked
• 1 cup panko breadcrumbs
• 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
• 2 eggs, beaten
• 1 teaspoon garlic powder
• 1 teaspoon onion powder
• 1 teaspoon paprika
• 1/2 teaspoon salt
• 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
• 2 tablespoons vegetable oil for frying
Instructions
• Step 1: In a large bowl, gently mix together the flaked salmon, 1/2 cup of the panko breadcrumbs, flour, beaten eggs, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and pepper until well combined.
• Step 2: Form the salmon mixture into 8 equal-sized patties, about 1/2 inch thick.
• Step 3: Place the remaining 1/2 cup of panko breadcrumbs in a shallow dish. Dredge the salmon patties in the panko, pressing gently to help the crumbs adhere.
• Step 4: In a large skillet, heat the vegetable oil over medium-high heat. Carefully add the breaded salmon patties and cook for 3-4 minutes per side, or until golden brown and crispy.
• Step 5: Transfer the fried salmon patties to a paper towel-lined plate to drain excess oil. Serve hot, garnished with your desired toppings or accompaniments.
