• 1 baguette, sliced into 1/2-inch thick rounds
• 4 ounces goat cheese, softened
• 1 cup fresh strawberries, sliced
• 2 tablespoons balsamic glaze
• 2 tablespoons chopped fresh basil (optional)
Instructions
• Step 1: Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Arrange the sliced baguette rounds on a baking sheet, and toast them in the oven for 5-7 minutes, or until they’re lightly golden and crisp.
• Step 2: While the bread is toasting, prepare the toppings. In a small bowl, gently mix the softened goat cheese until it’s smooth and creamy. Slice the fresh strawberries.
• Step 3: Once the bread is toasted, spread a layer of the creamy goat cheese onto each round. Top with a few slices of fresh strawberry, followed by a drizzle of balsamic glaze. Garnish with a sprinkle of chopped fresh basil, if desired.
