Ingredients
• 1 lb spaghetti
• 1 can (28 oz) crushed tomatoes
• 3 cloves garlic, minced
• 2 tablespoons olive oil
• 1/2 cup panko breadcrumbs
• 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
• 1 teaspoon dried oregano
• Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
• Step 1: Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Cook the spaghetti according to package instructions until al dente, about 8-10 minutes. Drain and set aside.
• Step 2: In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and cook for 1-2 minutes, stirring frequently, until fragrant and lightly golden.
• Step 3: Add the crushed tomatoes to the skillet and stir to combine. Simmer the sauce for 5-7 minutes, stirring occasionally, until slightly thickened.
• Step 4: In a small bowl, mix together the panko breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, and dried oregano. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
• Step 5: Add the cooked spaghetti to the tomato sauce and toss to coat. Top with the garlic breadcrumb mixture and serve immediately.
