Waldorf Chicken Salad

Ingredients

• 2 cups cooked, shredded chicken
• 2 crisp apples, diced
• 2 stalks celery, diced
• 1/2 cup mayonnaise
• 2 tablespoons lemon juice
• 1/4 cup chopped walnuts
• 1/4 cup raisins (optional)
• Salt and pepper to taste


Instructions

• Step 1: In a large bowl, combine the cooked, shredded chicken, diced apples, and diced celery.
• Step 2: In a separate small bowl, whisk together the mayonnaise and lemon juice until well combined.
• Step 3: Pour the mayonnaise mixture over the chicken, apples, and celery, and gently fold to coat everything evenly.
• Step 4: Stir in the chopped walnuts and raisins (if using), and season with salt and pepper to taste.
• Step 5: Cover and refrigerate the Waldorf chicken salad for at least 30 minutes to allow the flavors to meld.
