Yogurt Marinated Chicken

  • Author: Jasmine
  • Total Time: 35-54 minutes

Ingredients

• 1 pound boneless, skinless chicken breasts or thighs
• 1 cup plain Greek yogurt
• 2 tablespoons lemon juice
• 2 garlic cloves, minced
• 1 teaspoon ground cumin
• 1 teaspoon paprika
• 1/2 teaspoon salt
• 1/4 teaspoon black pepper

Instructions

• Step 1: In a large bowl, combine the plain Greek yogurt, lemon juice, minced garlic, cumin, paprika, salt, and black pepper. Whisk the ingredients together until well-blended.
• Step 2: Add the chicken breasts or thighs to the yogurt marinade and turn to coat each piece evenly. Cover the bowl and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes, or up to 24 hours for maximum flavor.
• Step 3: When ready to cook, preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or foil.
• Step 4: Transfer the marinated chicken to the prepared baking sheet, arranging the pieces in a single layer. Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked through and reaches an internal temperature of 165°F (75°C).
• Step 5: Remove the chicken from the oven and let it rest for 5 minutes before serving. Enjoy your perfectly juicy and flavorful yogurt marinated chicken!
