Creamy Steak Fettuccine Alfredo

  • Author: Jasmine
  • Total Time: 35 minutes

Ingredients

• 12 oz fettuccine pasta
• 1 lb flank steak, thinly sliced
• 2 tablespoons olive oil
• 3 cloves garlic, minced
• 1 cup heavy cream
• 1 cup grated parmesan cheese
• 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
• 1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley
• Salt and black pepper to taste

Instructions

• Step 1: Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add the fettuccine and cook according to the package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
• Step 2: In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium-high heat. Add the sliced steak and sear for 2-3 minutes per side, or until cooked to your desired doneness. Remove the steak from the skillet and set aside.
• Step 3: In the same skillet, reduce the heat to medium and add the minced garlic. Cook for 1 minute, stirring constantly, until fragrant.
• Step 4: Pour in the heavy cream and whisk in the parmesan cheese. Bring the sauce to a simmer and cook for 3-5 minutes, or until the cheese has melted and the sauce has thickened slightly.
• Step 5: Reduce the heat to low and stir in the unsalted butter until it’s melted and fully incorporated into the sauce.
• Step 6: Add the cooked fettuccine and sliced steak to the skillet, tossing gently to coat everything in the creamy alfredo sauce.
• Step 7: Garnish the steak fettuccine alfredo with chopped fresh parsley and serve immediately.
