Ingredients
• 1 lb fettuccine pasta
• 1 lb beef sirloin or flank steak, grilled and sliced
• 1 cup heavy cream
• 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
• 3 cloves garlic, minced
• 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
• 1/2 teaspoon salt
• 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
Instructions
• Step 1: Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Cook the fettuccine according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
• Step 2: In a large skillet, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and cook for 1-2 minutes, or until fragrant.
• Step 3: Reduce the heat to low and slowly pour in the heavy cream, whisking constantly to prevent curdling. Simmer for 3-4 minutes, or until the sauce has thickened slightly.
• Step 4: Remove the skillet from heat and stir in the Parmesan cheese until melted and well incorporated. Season with salt and pepper.
• Step 5: Add the cooked fettuccine to the alfredo sauce and toss to coat. Gently fold in the sliced steak.
• Step 6: Serve the steak fettuccine alfredo immediately, garnished with additional Parmesan cheese and chopped parsley, if desired.
